All the policies are collectively shared with the Driver at the time of onboarding as the Driver Training & Induction Manual.
We have a systemic approach to minimizing occupational health, safety, and security. We also evaluate our practices and strive to curtail any negative impact on the environment. These intents are captured in our HSSE Policy Document. We also have a specific Safety Awareness Program that identifies potential hazards for workers in the logistics field and prescribes practices that reduce the chances of slips, trips, falls, back-injuries from material handling etc.
Anti-Bribery & Anti-Corruption Policy
We take a zero-tolerance approach to bribery and corruption and are committed to conducting our business in an honest and ethical manner. Our Anti-Bribery and Anti-Corruption Policy Documentadopts a strong position against facilitation payments/kickbacks and political contributions and requires every employee to steer clear of engaging in or encouraging any such practices.

Securing the Delivery:
We evaluate every potential candidate for a driver’s role in accordance with our Driver Recruitment Policy. This includes a thorough background check for any past accidents/prosecution history, an on-road assessment, an interview to evaluate approach towards work and safety, and also a verification of all documents.
During the term of his/her employment, the driver is required to undergo medical examinations from time to time to ensure that the Driver Fitness Standard is met. These checks primarily help us ascertain that the driver does not have an impaired vision or any other medical condition such as epilepsy, heart disease, that might in anyway affect his/her driving competency.
Once hired, all drivers undergo extensive training to ensure that they are well-prepared for the challenges of the road. Their training includes modules ranging from Defensive Driving to appropriate Headlight Usage. We also have in place a strict Mobile Usage Policy to eliminate distractions on the trip and a Tiredness and Fatigue Policy that require drivers to follow specific timelines to mitigate risks of accidents from drowsiness. A set of the Road Safety Rules which drivers go through during training is kept in every truck for ready reference.
Ensuring secured Journeys
At Freightco, we take extreme care of our transport vehicles and ensure that they are always kept in the best conditions. Long cross-country journeys can often be fraught with many dangers, such as the risks of ambush, pilferage. We brief our drivers on these various possibilities and equip them with the best practices to preserve the safety of the load, vehicle, personnel under our Driver Security training. As one of the measures, we forbid taking on-board any Unauthorized Passenger and deal with any such violation with utmost strictness.
